April 30 to May 3. Rally to Amador County, California. This rally will be held at the 49er RV Park in Plymouth, CA. Amador County is in the heart of the Sierra Foothill wine country. Highway 49 runs through Amador County and has several Gold Rush era towns with great shopping and restaurants. On this rally we will visit the Kennedy Mine in Jackson and an excellent winery in the Shenandoah Valley just outside of Plymouth. There is an excellent golf course nearby in Ione. Castle Oaks Golf Course is open to the public and is an excellent course.
June 3 to June 7. Rally in Likely, California at Likely Place Golf & RV Resort. Located in Modoc County just off of Hwy. 395. This RV park features an 18 hole golf course and an on-site restaurant. Also there is catch and release fishing at two private lakes at the 55 acre RV resort. Clear skies and country serenity abound. Just 150 miles north of Reno.
June 20 to June 23. The Sierra Hi Rollers will be having a pre-rally on the way to the FMCA Pacific Northwest Rally in the Coos Bay area of Oregon. The FMCA rally is from June 25 to June 28, with an arrival date of June 23 to allow for touring before the start of the FMCA rally. Details of this pre-rally will be emailed to members of the Sierra Hi Rollers.
25th Anniversary Dinner on Sept. 23. 2015 marks the 25th anniversary of the Sierra Hi Rollers as a chapter of the Family Motor Coach Association. This dinner will be held at the Thunder Canyon Golf Club in Washoe Valley, Nevada. A gala evening to mix and celebrate with the members of our chapter.
Planning Stage: an additional rally and a one-day local event in the greater Reno area.
Coney Island Dinner the chapter’s annual dinner at the Coney Island Restaurant in Sparks is a much-anticipated event. A great time in a family owned and operated Italian restaurant. This restaurant has been in business for over 50 years. Date to be determined.
